"Tourists" is an example of hybrid dramaturgy where J.P. Sartre meets Sarah Kane and where Elektra and Orestes wander through war zones of Syria and Ukraine endlessly reliving the tragedy of their fate. They redefine their own myth, create their own ceremonies, get lost in multiple narratives, landscapes of war and dilapidated spaces until at the end when they bring the audience to the beginning; the ethereal prism like space where the faith is rebound and de-knotted. The creators of the work ask many questions in the work; how can we just stand on the sides and watch unfolding crisis? Where are we as humanity? What do we need to do to change and to break endless and vicious cycles of felony and revenge?
