Lumina is The New Zealand Dance Company’s season of new works, spearheaded by three dynamic choreographers.

Louise Potiki Bryant creates 'In Transit' which is a layered and vivid reflection of the traces triggered by ritual and encounter.

Malia Johnston in 'Brouhaha' creates a bold, loud and rich world in which dancers are explorers of fragmented slits of space and light.

Choreographer Stephen Shropshire in 'The Geography of an Arhipelago' negotiates a powerful spatial obstacle which awakes questions about living in exile or not belonging. Three performers re-tell three different versions of the truth.

Kasia Pol with AV designers Paddy Free and Rowan Pierce, and lighting designer Jo Kilgour create three coherent and immersive environments for the choreographers and dancers to negotiate.
